The origin of death-

“As by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.”(Romans 5:12).

 The lot of all-

“There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war. (Ecclesiastes 8:8).

 Strips of earthly possessions-

“We brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.” (1 Timothy 6:7).

 For the saved it is -

“Absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 5:8).

 For the Unsaved-

“The rich man also died, and was buried; and in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments” (Luke 16:22-23).
