How the Lord touched a member of Markethill Free Presbyterian Church ...

Ivan Foster : born 1969 the youngest of four, two brothers and one sister. At the age of eleven I attended a gospel mission in Keady run by the Free Presbyterian Church. As I sat in that meeting night after night I felt the presence of the Lord, but I fought it night after night. As I neared the end of the gospel mission I gave in, and the relief was great. That night I was saved (Jesus had lifted me), but as time went on I left the Lord and went into the world - I did things I should not have done! and went to places where I should not have been. I knew I should not be there for the Lord was with me calling me back. As I got older I started driving a lorry and met a converted Christain man. We would meet week after week; he talked about the Lord and how I needed to be saved (but he had no need to tell me, I knew about being saved but I did not tell him that). He gave me some testimony tapes which I listened to in my lorry. Then I got to thinking, what if I should die this very night? where would I spend eternity? I stopped the lorry and bowed my head and asked the Lord to forgive me of all my sin and to be my saviour and to keep me. And so in 1997 the Lord had called me back to him. I then joined Markethill Free Presbyterian Church and since then my wife has got saved and we both attend Markethill church. The Lord is good and it is my prayer that all who read this will be saved by the grace of GOD.

The BIBLE says Romans 6 v 23: The wages of sin is death, but the gift of GOD is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. In John 12 v 46 Jesus said : I am come a light into the world that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
